Fire museums.
The fire museum is a little local gem open only a few hours a week and staffed by passionate volunteers. Our tour guide was a retired fireman, who was well informed on local fire history. They had one fire engine from the 1920's that the children can climb onto. Others, some from the turn of the century, were hands off.
