Assuming they update each model and not just transfer the dimentions from on to the other then there is no differance between the 30, S, SF when it comes to width. Interestingly the G19 is 1.18 wide. This would mean that the G36 is .08 thinner

I recently bought a G30S and I love it. Great pistol. I've been comparing the dimensions between it, a 30, and a 30SF and am a bit confused. They are virtually identical. The 30S says it's .01" wider than the other 2.The only significant differences between the Gen 4 and Gen 3, in regards to the G30 is the texture/backstrap system, magazine release, and the three magazines included with the Gen 4 vs the 2 with the Gen 3. It's about the same height, but thinner & lighter. The new G30s is interesting, but it still has the thick G30 frame. Just the slide's thinner, not the frame like on the 36. Also, IIRC, you can't shoot +P ammo through the 36 or 30s. The G30 is often times touted as one of the more accurate Glocks for CC.
